Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hello,

Here's my take on a (quite old) lesson named 'rhythmic tapping'

Very nice take mate biggrin.gif only a little bit of cleaning up and it's perfect! Also, take care at the vibrato at the end, widen it up to make it sound good (I know it;s not a vibrato lesson, but just for the sake of it biggrin.gif)

Very nice take - and thanks Cosmin for commenting on vibrato. We definitely want GMC students to work on all aspects of their playing.

Deadevil I think this was a cool choice of lesson as it will likely have a very positive impact on your pinky strength and stretching ability.

There are some places which you might want to work on separately to assure a smooth flow (like 00:25)

Keep rocking!

Excellent take Deadevil. This is a very hard lesson and I think you performed it very well. There were only a couple of minor slip ups but your overall time keeping and articulation was good. cool.gif

It's not a vibrato lesson as the guys said, but a wider and more even vibrato will sound much more professional than the thin, buzzing type. If you'd like any advice on developing vibrato and some lesson suggestions feel free to p.m. me or any of the other instructors anytime. smile.gif

Well done! smile.gif I think you played everything pretty good, and there are just couple of timing issues here and there, with one bigger at 0.23.

As other guys recommended, vibrato is a bit weaker in the end, needs to be more wider. All in all, very good take with proper timing. Tone is a bit buzzy, but every note came out good, so I think it's OK.
