Haha! Didn't even notice that
Posted by: Hemlok Jul 19 2007, 10:08 AM
I noticed it, but thought that perhaps Kethcup was a word because I didn't know why anyone would have Ketchup as their name.

Hm... Wouldn't things be quite confusing if everyone started changing their usernames.
If Andrew changed his username..?
Posted by: Hemlok Jul 19 2007, 10:28 AM
Yes it would be confusing, unless like they do on Ebay, it has your username, and for about a month there is an icon next to the name, when hovered over it says this user has recently changed display name.
Also maybe you could limit each person to one display name change total. When viewing profile you can find what user's name used to be.
But that ^ looks to me like a bit of effort. Maybe it isnt, not sure. I don't no the first thing about coding or forums. But that would be one way of doing it to avoid confusion.

Posted by: Hemlok Jul 19 2007, 01:46 PM
Yes you have a good name Andrew! Me.. Brent Ekholm <--- what the hell kind of a name is that. No good I tell ya.
Thats why I choose Hemlok as my name its an anagram of Ekholm and it just sounds cool.

Yeah. Andrew Cockburn. That's a name for a lead guitarist.
Could it possibly be you are being sarcastic? Surely not
Of course I would suspect you of that were it not so patently obvious that "Andrew Cockburn"
is in fact such a cool lead guitar players name ...

well Demon Cockburn obviously sounds cool, but after some thought it could scare some away. I shall not get into any more detail, but don't demons have the power to "burn" things?

Hehe, great! I hesitated to post it. I was afraid you could read it sarcastic, but I guessed you have read enough of my posts to not be offended at least
No, this time I was serious. Greet rock'nroll ring to your name. Really
(had to go for a while)
Just listen to it:

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRGHHH!
I actually really like my surname(I think it is a common Swedish surname? But it sure isn't common in Australia
, but my name in full, doesn't flow.
I think I need to get rid of my first name. Or.. just not even worry about it, as it isn't important until I am a rock star.

BTW, something that probably none of yo uknow, the ck in Cockburn is silent - ist pronounced Coburn .... does that still count as a Rock 'n' Roll guitar name???
Posted by: Hemlok Jul 20 2007, 04:05 PM
Hahahahah? Sorry, are there people pronouncing your name otherways?
I sure hope not, because then your surname would be painful. I bet you copped alot of woop for that in school.
Oh and Andrew, get yourself a Light Pick! They are the beez neez(also the name of the beer I am drinking at the moment).
Sometime this week I will put up a gear review for the Light Pick.

You got it .... and yes, I did get it in the neck at school. Even now, whenever I give my name I have to interrupt immediately with the spelling so they don't get it wrong, then they look at me blankly until I have spelled it out 3 times ... but its character forming

I'm tempted, but they are like $50 or something ? I'd drop 10 or 15 for a pick, but 50? Looking forward to your review though and I'll probably give in and get one eventually bercause they look sooo cool
Love the new AVatar by the way!

Oh no. The thrill is gone
I see an opening here. I can use the f-word and claim that "ck" is silent

I like to mess about with macromedia flash every now and then. I would often start making flash animations, but never finish them. There is no hope for that now, with my interest in music.
I got 2 packs of violin strings arrive today from ebay as I cannot buy them where I live
So I may give the violin a rattle this weekend.
