That's funny, because when I saw the title of this thread, I thought I know what I will post...but you had already posted it!!! Among many others these two right here introduced more than a couple of generations of future american and british guitar players to the blues/country blues. Elizabeth Cotton, Rev. Gary Davis, Charley Patton of course Robert Johnson (and a ton of others) are also responsible for what ultimately became country and rock and roll music.
