Do some wrist stretching every once in a while,
if you haven't played for few years as you said than your muscles need some time to adapt,but don't push it too hard tho,be careful. And practice of course. -------------------- Youtube

Be very careful to warm up because you brain knows the chops but your muscles can't execute them at such speed anymore, so you wanna give them time to adapt and develop a little before you continue where you left off. Great to pick up guitar once again? ROck on man!
