Hi mate,

The lesson is getting close. Here I'll comment some things that you need to have in mind and work during the next days of practice.

- Timing: This is the most important element to adjust. You tend to play the upbeat upstroke strum a bit after than you should, so the rhythm sounds like with some delay. Try to go even with the tempo. There are also timing issues when you change chords, for example when you go to the V grade at 00:47. This problem becomes more notorious in the second section when you have to combine licks with rhythm.

- Cleanness: Try to clean the turnaround licks played at 00:23, and the last ones. When playing the first rhythm, try to make the roots sound clearer.

that's all by now, just keep on practicing!

Hey Tim!

You're seriously into blues mood lately smile.gif I'm sure you know this one needs some more attention. Your shuffle feel is quite ok with some moment when timing goes a bit off but overall groove is fine. One issue is visibel through all the take - unwanted strings noise. You need to experiment with your hand position and shape (mostly left hand fingers shaping - more flat probably) to remove those strings that ring under things you play. We do not want this to happen smile.gif

Damn, how did this take get missed? 11th May? Sorry, Tim rolleyes.gif

I think you perform the shuffle rhythm really well. For me, I don't think the main issue with this take is your timing. I think it is with the unwanted string noise ringing out during the main riff. There is a note that keeps occurring which sounds totally out of key. So look at your fretting hand and make sure you're hitting the right notes and then look to your picking hand and make sure you're not hitting an extra string that shouldn't be hit.

Everything else is pretty good and can be polished with some more time spent on it.
