Ladies and gentlemen!
These last weeks have been hectic for me and my band as we began work on our new album and preparing the release of our new music video, which is actually a single meant to announce the release of our second album, coming out this autumn.
It's a story based around the idea in which we were caught by a bunch of evil ladies and locked up in a cage to perform for their entertainment until they decide to sacrifice us for sport. The atmosphere will resemble a modernized version of vintage vampire movies... Here's a short teaser, as the video will be released next week and we will have our first conceptual concert.
Each song having video projections and specially designed lighting effects. The idea here, is to slowly build a concept concert with actors and stories around each song, all of them being tied up between themselves by musical interludes 
It's a long shot but it begins this Thursday... with the release of 'Bloodstream':

Serious now, this look great and sound more than awesome!!! The concept for the concert I think is brilliant and successful! I hardly wait to see the comments after concert because is something new and refreshing

Wou mate! This teaser is SO promising. The song seems to be very cool, the sound is top level, also your voice seems to keep on evolving and the video quality is very profesional. I'm very happy of you mate. I liking your band more and more. All the best.

I am also very impatient in having the final version The audio track on the teaser is the one mixed in Romania, but we are currently waiting to receive the version mixed and mastered in the USA and guess what... we just found out we will distribute the single through Universal Records.. I don't know if that's a good thing or not such a good thing .. just yet I will tell you more as things will happen.
What I know is that we have worked on 3 new songs these days and we are getting to the next level in composition and orchestration! It's a whole new dimension of our musical personalities and we are working more closely and united than ever! It feels amazing!

I hope You will have better collaboration with Universal, than me and my band had. we've been frozen for 5 years because of the contract. I hope because of the world has changed, they also changed they policy...

I cross my fingers ))Hey Darius - thanks for bringing this to my attention mate - you are not the only one, so this proves that we have to BE REALLY careful! I will consider the possibility of refusing, as I do not want to be tied to a contract that does not bring any real benefits.

I just received the first mix version from the American engineer we are working with Fingers crossed, as the one in the teaser is the old version mixed in Romania, which we were not so happy with.

My only advice would be to try to get a contract only for one album. Otherwise You might end with problems while trying to publish next record. I mean...they can give some conditions like "chanage this or that otherwise we won't publish". From the other side You can't publish anywhere else because of the contract.
I remember we had the CD and a bit of promotion but it was first 6 months...then We had 4,5 years of freezing next compositions. But that was back in the 2001-2002. Many things could change.

Thanks guys!! Darius, I think that every contract out there wants to tie you up, unfortunately, so I am thinking more and more about renouncing the idea.. It's better to use your resources, such as relationships under the command of an intelligent person who believes in the band, in order to get gigs and sponsoring for band activities (recording, touring, promotion and such) rather than trying the old fashioned way and letting ourselves blinded by the fact that we're talking about Universal Records...
