Hi mate!

I dont know your effects unit but Gary's tone is a seriously cranked Marshall amp so if you have any emulations for Marshall plexi or JCM then try them out, I think he uses a compressor as well for that never ending note of his. I dont think any effects unit could get it fully but check out Ivans lesson below as he does a bit of a tutorial (Albeit in Gearbox!) which might give you some ideas.

Try to find a Marshall voicing on your processor. This voicing is usually labeled as vintage, or british or something, and if you aren't completely sure what setting is it, refer to the manual of the device. Just find a nice preset, and then modify the EQ settings by comparing your sound and the sound from the lesson or from Gary Moore live/studio recording. If you have any more questions, let me know and I'll try to help smile.gif

Awwww, was trying to get a nice sound on my POD 2.0 as well.

For now, I am using a Brit blues amp, with a compressor @80%, 100% treble, 70% medium, 20% bass, 35% drive and reverb. No delay. But it's more bluesy than the Moore sound I think.

What do you think ? smile.gif
