Hey Guys,

I haven't been active that much here as I haven't been playing much. About 5 weeks ago, I had a brutal accident.. although small, it has lasted long. A glass frame dropped and cut through my thumb cutting the tendon that seems to move the thumb up/down. I had to go through a surgery and keep a plaster on my hand for 6 weeks. Its still on and will be taking out later this week. I will have to go through some therapy for few weeks before I can use it fully. I hope I can soon. I might have to restart everything about picking.. sad.gif

Anyways, how can I keep quiet without playing the guitar? smile.gif The good thing about this situation is I have been learning chicken picking or bass like picking. Its awesome.. now I must be able to play bass guitar as well ha! Anyways, I am trying slow licks and here is a video that I recorded yesterday. I can't damp in the noise but I hope you guys like it.

Thanks for watching!
Chandra

take it easy in recovery and don't push it
I broke my arm when I was young and did not get it properly rehabed and ended up having to switch to left handed guitar
so take it easy and I wish you the best

Thanks Bogdan and Ivan. I removed that plaster block last week and I am going through physiotherapy now. Still hurts and something might be wrong with my thumb. sad.gif But the great thing is I can use picks now. smile.gif I am practicing and hopefully in next few weeks, my thumbs recover fully.
