GMC Forum _ Lesson suggestions (David) _ Another Dark Fuse

Posted by: Matt23 Oct 21 2008, 07:27 PM

Hey David, your dark fuse lessons were great, i thought the dissonance was so cool. Could you do a lesson on another piece in that style?

Also, although this isnt a lesson request ill put it in this topic anyway. I've noticed you put your hand in a fist when you pick. I've tried this and it seems to give me better tone and dynamics. Is that why you do it?

Thanks Matt, glad you like the Dark Fuse lesson. I'll get some more going on.
Now for my picking position, I always held my pick like that. It's always been comfortable for me. When I first started it was natural. But you are right, I think it does help expressiveness. :-)
