Man, you've got guitar skills, but you already knew that.... but thos double bass drums tongue.gif and your singing is fine to, you're a multi-talent tongue.gif very nice! So now some live gigs.... you playing guitar, bass, drums and singing two different vocal lines at the same time tongue.gif haha, very nice dude!

Lil' question, you say you've got an offer from a major label, but you don't have enough money....aren't they supposed to pay you? Or only after you've given them your finished album?

Kaz

You know, the market is very little here in Hungary, ( gold is only 5000 pcs ! ), and the labels have no business to release albums. Everybody download the musics ( illegal ), and nobody buy CD-s..
If you have a new band, you have to pay everything start from the recording to release the record. Unfortunately I don't have any money to pay these things, the only one way is to find sponsors..:-(

very well done man, nice song, and awesome skills in every instrument! love it! when do we get more?

Actually I got an offer from a hungarian major label, but now I have to get money to pay the studio and release costs...

The record will release in 2 languages, hungarian and english, so if somebody wants (and can) sponsore my band and this record, don't hesitate to contact with me! laugh.gif

Awesome playing man, jamvox delivers a great tone too!

Yes, Jamvox is pretty cool, much better than I was imagine before I got it. I think right now this is the best practicing stuff on the market.

Great takes Krisztian, I liked both a lot!! smile.gif

Pardon me asking, you were tuned down whole tone in 1st clip,
was there a specific reason for that or?

Cool chops once again. smile.gif

My guitars tuning are standard D. In the first video I needed to play 1 step higher ( In B dorian instead of A dorian ), but after the modulation I couldn't play in the high(er) frets, cause for me it was C# (instead of B ) and I have only 24 frets :-)
So, that's why for the 2nd video I transposed the backing track down with the JamVox softweare for my guitar tuning ( D ), and I could play in the original key :-)
Thanks for your kind words, I already followed your works before I joined GMC, and I love your playing, especially your own songs! Very unique!

Thank you all of you!!!

Hey Guys,

There is a very cool guitar contest on YouTube. Marco Sfogli's Shred This Too.

The jury is very good, the backing track is awesome with some modulations, and not too short, that's why you can show your talent.

Here are the details:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9QH-2U9W2M

I made a video for it, not the best, but I enjoyed to play:

Hey GMC-ers!

I uploaded my little daughter's first guitar exam to YouTube. I'm sure that she will be very happy, if you write some comments to her.

She's 10 years old now, this video was made last year, and she was 1st grade on guitar.

Cheers,

Krisztian

Hi again! Another important update to my introduction. A very good friend of my suggested to use this website, he is an instructor here, his name is Krisztian Lovrek from Hungary. Check out his stuff, he is an extremely talented guitarist and teacher, and I think he is the best in vibrato lessons!

Hey Bro! Nice to see you here! Welcome!!

He is a monster! His technique is so extreme and it even plays music. I didn't know him so I will check more of his music (and maybe if there is any clinic too!). Thanks for sharing.

My advice is get these records first: Demon's Dream, and Clean. On Clean he plays together with Joe Satriani, Greg Howe, Jennifer Batten and Billy Sheehan! Awesome stuff!

Interesting player indeed... smile.gif But I think he will be trapped in the same corner as Allan Holdsworth, eg. his music is so complicated that no one really understands it, even that the second one is more like a more blues tune......

//Staffay

I don't agree. Holdsworth is too much for me, but Martone's music is very cool. I really enjoy his songs and playing as well, because a lot of times I don't know what's happening in there :-) Wish I could know cool.gif

I don't know how many people knows him, but everybody should..
I think he is that guy who will be a legend in the next century, cause he's writing a musical history right now, but because of his not too good support and advertise, or I don't know why, he is not too known these days.

He plays a very unique music, with a very unique guitar playing. I really love his records, dvds, and everything that he made. Aside from Satriani he is the man who developed some new guitar techniques. His music is a great mix of different styles, jazz, metal, fusion, latin, etc. and different techniques, chicken picking, extreme tapping runs, it's just amazing!
Ok, let's check 2 of his great songs :

Nice tone! Aside from the timing always mind your vibratos! They are too nervous! Lukather has one of the best vibrato, sometimes wide but always calm!
Anyway, there are some very cool phrase in there. Good job! wink.gif

I like the sound very much.

Nice gear you have there.
Suhr and MM LUKE or AXIS are on my list for my next guitar. I think they both are great guitars

Every MM is cool, Axis good for rock, Luke is good for rock and blues as well!
