About a year ago, I took some time to learn bending and could never figure out how to keep everything so quiet and yet get such a powerful sound out of it. After a while though, it just came naturally and is very much like yours (it may have started out by my mimicing how people placed their fingers like the forefinger not knowing why they do it).
