I'm not sure I understand the question. But a sparking sound could come from a broken cord. Have you tried with another cord?
Spending money on good quality cords is money well spent. They will last you a loooong time and in the long run I think it's more expensive to buy new cheap cords again and again and again when the old ones break. If it's more of a hum it could be a power source in your house that is making the disturbance. Like a effects pedal connected to a wall socket instead of battery. Could be the lights like flourocent light, a computer etc. -------------------- My bands homepage

Since it's not a tube amp (if I remember correctly), I suggest to do the same what Mickem said. Check cords, pedals, and if that doesn't work, check your guitar pickups too, the amp may get some wierd signals from them if they are not properly installed. But that maybe a long shot, I don't know.
