A "Vintage" guitar from the 80's called a "PHANTOM" smile.gif The 80's band PHANTOM ROCKER & SLICK had a guitar player named SLICK and he endorsed these. They are pretty rare and were only built for a couple of years. I cleaned it up and I"m gonna sell it of course smile.gif For $200 to fund my next Gear purchase! smile.gif

Feels a LOT like a Hamer Californian. smile.gif

It feels much more like the HAMER CALIFORNIAN than the Ibanez in terms of the neck and body. Still a very thin neck, just a bit more rounded than the IBBY smile.gif Might make a good addition to your used collection! smile.gif

Stop tempting the poor!

Seriously though, I can't afford even a cheap guitar now. And I'm still falling more and more in love with the Hamer.

I wanted to switch the Floyd Rose like we talked about in the chat yesterday, so I swapped it for a near new one I had in another guitar, which I rarely use anyway - especially now! Unfortunately the pivot screws were 10mm on the hamer and only 8mm on the other guitar, so I couldn't do a proper swap out, but I noticed that the knife edge on the hamer's FR weren't look good, and they're definitely better on the FR from the other guitar, so it's still a bit of an upgrade. If only it was easy to get FR parts here in Denmark I'd change the screws as well, but it seems it's not really a possibility. At least it's a bit more stable now.

Does ebay not ship to Denmark? Have you tried Ebay for floyd parts? They have everything and usually pretty cheap. smile.gif

The thing is though that they might catch it in customs, and if they do it might get just as expensive as buying some from around Europe. I have bought a FR from the US before and it came here without any problems, but I can't really afford that chance again if it's picked up.

wish i lived in us, everything is so cheap there.
that guitar sounds awesome but the delivery would be about as much as the guitar;P

About customs btw Cael, know what its like, I once sold an old 8bit nintendo to a friend with 24 games or something.
He sent it to his brother in norway for his birthday, it got stuck in customs and they wanted about 300 euro for it to be released, they counted the value of every item new.... sick. i sold it for 100 euro.

Plays a lot like my Hamer Californian did as well smile.gif Also, very hot bridge pickup. Cut the price down to $120 to move it.
