Hey Emir I noticed you still don't have your own subforum so I made this request here.
Anyway I was watching videos of you on YouTube and I came across this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8o-ArBTuh8...feature=related Which I really like,I'm guessing it's some kind of traditional music in your country? It's very close to Turkish music. Anyway would you please make a lesson of this video here on GMC? And if you can't because of copyrights regulations would you make a lesson in this style? Thanks in advance. -------------------- Practicing Pavel's Alternate Picking Lesson 4 at: (16th notes triplets) |

Thank you for your request. Yesterday I got PM from the new instrucor Vasilije Vukmirovic about the same song. He would like to make lesson in that style with me. The song you heard is from Zoran Starcevic. He is Serbian guitar maestro and plays Balkan traditional infuenced music. I can't teach that exact song because of copyrights but I suggested to Vasilije that we make a lesson in that style together.
Muris has a lesson called "Oriental Shred" that uses the same scales and techniques. I hope we can make it this month. Emir. -------------------- Check out my Instructor profile

Can you do a lesson on: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUXgGIIg3Ik...feature=related I reallllly dig this song for some reason. Look how much cooler your version is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8oS7Gk7-KZ8 I played the Mozart piece but that guy on the piano plays something else. He said it was Beethoven piece I think I can make a lesson but it's a very long piece. The whole 3-4 minute song. Maybe if I split it in 3 parts it would work. Think that I need to transcribe all of it I watched Starcevic live last night. Awesome as always! What I noticed is that arrangements are made in a way that two guitars play solo(exact same notes in most cases) and third guitar plays rhythm. They played even one classical piece(Hungarian dance 6) arranged as if it is Balcan piece. I even shooted few songs, and I can tell you from the footage, they play lots and lots of trills. Just amazing! I believe it was a great show. Put some clips on youtube please. And what about "Hora martisorului" from your CD?I love this one:)..and others are mega uber cool too:)Your skill is just awesome That one is from an old Romanian violin player. I don't play all notes as from the original. I arranged it differently. I can do some parts soon. Thanks for the idea. -------------------- Check out my Instructor profile
