I must be mistaken or it was a British thing. I thought she posthumously took the world by storm and being an American singer I'm surprised you've not heard of her Todd.
UPDATE: I've just dug this out https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eva_Cassidy and it sends that it is a British thing. Her voice is incredibly pure don't you think. I'm glad people are going to hear her on here that haven't before. I wonder if Ken knows of her. Great voice! Yeah never heard of her and she is not known over here far as I can tell. At least not much. She is evidently quite big in Britain sadly after her death.

Eva Cassidy was the real deal.

Just bumping this, don't know why, just feels right, hopefully someone else might find some pleasure from her voice.
