Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: Chris Impellitteri Style by Ben Higgins

Finally I've recorded this monster. Ben said the tone is quite good, so after months of practising and health problems, I can share a take I am quite happy with. I know there is obviously room for improvement, but I feel I must move on to another lesson, as both my inspiration needs it, and my injured fingers need something else:( Hope you like it:)

Wou!! That's an awesome take man! Congrats on your great work!

This lesson is very demanding and I think that there is just a bit of room regarding hands sync and timing in the faster licks. The overall sounds totally awesome.

Just a small detail, it's a pity that the audio of your video is very low. Check out if you can add some maximizer or something with Youtube editor.

Congrats again friend.

Hi Marek, in the name of Odin, it is awesome to see you in the REC Zone again!

This has got to be one of my most difficult lessons due to the nature of the fast runs.. there's no warm up to them, it's straight into them from nowhere. However, you do a great job on them. There's still room for improvement in regards to being fully in sync with the backing, especially on the first fast run, but overall you're about 95% there on them.

The bending and vibrato is much better as well from what you showed me before, there's much more control there.

Good job on the arpeggios and tapping as well.. nothing to critique there. Nice work!!

Hey Marek!

As usual you deliver something from the top of the level scale. Considering it's a one take recording and like Ben said "fast licks of out nowhere, with no warm-up right before" it's an excellent result. It's a huge challenge and you did a great job. There are some minor details that are more a matter of particular take, then a global issues of your playing. I think a lot of players would already love to be able to perform at your level in one take, live recordings. Well done
