Moving to Gear Forum (this is not a review)

Personally i would go for all-digitech pedals. I have Digitech Digidelay and DF-7 and they work perfect.

Sorry andrew thought i posted it in the gear forum

No problem, just keeping things tidy smile.gif

If you are prepared to spend a little extra for higher quality, check out http://www.robertkeeley.com/ - he takes standard pedals and modifies them to sound better, and he has his own. The Keeley compressor is one of the best you can get, but its pricey.

I have one of these, its awsome - £100 new so if you can get it cheaper on ebay then great.

Again as with Andrew and Matt,
Bob Keeley's pedals and mods are great - if you can get this for a good price it would be a great buy.
Bob and the guys at Keeley are also in my experience really nice and friendly so I'm sure would try to answer and help you whether you buy new or off Ebay. I wouldn't say that about a lot of companies.

If you go for it - go luck and get it for a good price.

Cheers,
Tony

ps - other pedals - chorus - I'd also look at Boss.
Compressor - think about what you want from a compressor before you decide to buy one.

Hi there smile.gif
I have looked for you on the UK site http://www.robertkeeley.co.uk/distort_ds1ultra.htm
Still says £99 inc free P&P, but if you can get it cheaper then great !! biggrin.gif You wont be disapointed with this low noise responsive pedal.

dude iam looking on the american website
Thats stupid its cheaper to buy from america inc shipping great exchange rate at the moment

Posted by: mattacuk Oct 13 2007, 04:07 PM

Sounds like a much better deal, i know everything is much cheaper in the U.S sad.gif I just paid £135 for my new TS9/808 Mod Plus unsure.gif

Posted by: javari Oct 13 2007, 04:47 PM

I ordered a TS808 and a DS-1 from the US site.
Since the dollar is pretty cheap against the euro it is a good deal.

However, maybe I have to pay import tax sad.gif , in that case it is probably cheaper to buy from the UK site if you are in Europe.
(I think you don't have to pay import tax within the EU???)

Posted by: mattacuk Oct 13 2007, 05:04 PM

That is a good point, i had to pay a small fortune on tax when buying a DVD from the USA! sad.gif

Posted by: Owen Oct 14 2007, 01:59 AM

You can avoice paying import tax if the item is sent as a 'gift'.

Not that I'd condone such a thing.

ohmy.gif All I can say is, if you're getting a distortion get a metal muff. End of story, look it up, buy it biggrin.gif

For chorus, either the small clone or the CF-7 are both really good pedals.

For compressor, I don't know anything about those, but the suggestion for the MXR is a good one. And the keeley compressor is great too, but very expensive.

Good luck smile.gif

I don't know, you really should try out all these pedals before you make a purchase. All of them are good for some purpose.
