There are not too many drummers that I enjoy watching playing but Gavin is one of them.... his playing and sound is so tasty, and the song is fantastic.

Porcupine Tree is one of my favorite bands, they mix a lot of the styles that I like. I've seen them live three times, which I think is more than any other band I have gone to see live. Gavin Harrison is one of the best live drummers out there, he puts on a great show. One thing I've noticed though is that his head is ENORMOUS haha It looks like theres a bobble-head behind the drum kit

The word that I want to say cannot be repeated here !
He's incredible.. that's exactly the kind of drumming I love. A relaxed, tightness.. dynamic. Like Martin Lopez in Opeth.

That was nice drumming.. Completely off the topic, while I was watching this I wondered about something: on the symbols you see all the marks due to the hits, I wonder if they eventually crack.. Anyone know about this??

Lopez was definitely relaxed. My favourite drummer is Danny Carey of Tool. He and his signature drumsticks are amazing.

I am not a big fan of their music but I think this is one of the most original ideas of some crazy drum playing

I am not a fan, but I did see them live once, and they put on one helluva show. As for your question about cymbals cracking, they definitely do. My neighbour has actually cracked three cymbals in the past.
If you google 'cracked drum cymbal' there will be very many images that detail this greatly.

Yeah, I remember one drummer who was in my band who kept playing his cracked cymbal for ages before replacing it. It had a big chunk missing and the metal was bent !
