Just Seen Ozzy Live!

Jun 14 2011, 11:31 AM	Accomplished Rock Star Posts: 4.059 Joined: 24-June 08 From: Rottweil, Germany	Hi guys, yesterday I went to see Ozzy Osbourne live in Oberhausen, and I gotta admit, he rocked the arena The old man sure knows how to entertain a crowd, and he played all the songs the people wanted to hear. Pretty much old stuff from the Blizzard of Ozz album. And I gotta say, Gus G. is an amazing guitar player! At first I thought the supporting band would be way better than Ozzy, given the fact that Zakk Wylde himself was the support with his band Black Label Society. Although they played really great, Zakk never even tried to make a connection with the audience...plus, when I compare his long guitar solo with the one that Gus G. did later, the youngster wins since his was way more melodic, he used more techniques and just seemed to know where he was going next, while Zakk seemed to play a ton of random licks. When I checked some youtube videos today, I thought "well, his singing sounded much better when I was in the Arena...". I'm counting down the days to Sonisphere When I saw Gus with Ozzy, he didn't sound so great, but saying that, this is one of my fav songs from Gus: I'm with MickeM on the voice-correction software, it's def. there, and it's a whole load better that way Heck, he even uses teleprompters for the lyrics!
