i took your advice and started reading up instead of bugging you all the time and i stumbled upon this site "ibanez rules" anyways i was looking at the guitar and that when i was looking at one of the guitars i got a link and i went to this page where goes on and on and on about how bad the edge pro or something like that and how can he fix it. can anyone explain it to me in less technical language what is he offering, how important is it, if i should order it with my new guitar and if its worth the 45 bucks he wants?

i have no idea what youre talking about...link to the page?

i dont think rich ( the owner of ibanez rules) would talk bad about the edge pro, seeing that its one of the best systems out there...maybe he meant that you could "upgrade" the studs, even so, you dont need to do that at all... but yeah a link to that page would be nice

ibanez rules has a lot of good info for you

Just get the 2570 with the edge Zero and it comes with the locking stud mod. Rich will talk bad about the edge pro...especially without the locking stud mod. smile.gif

Not available.

What I did, however, on my old RG was to put higher dimension ... well, I don't know the word.
It's the white plastic thingies fitted around the tremolobar's end. It will increase friction, and ultimately make your
whammy bar stick to the position you want it to.

Personally I like both.

Regarding the lefties, RG1570l are also nice guitars IMO. The pickup whine is overrated, Paul Gilbert can make any guitar sound badass. It makes a difference but not until you feel that it's limiting your ideas. A good amp setting can do a really good job, even with just 'ok' PUPs.
