I dont know but I have heard the cheaper Ibanez's arnt too flash. What I would do is buy secondhand, find a good deal on a good secondhand amp and guitar. Or buy some good pickups to replace the stock standard in the cheapies.

Yeah. In music equipment you REALLY do get what you pay for. Those starter packs aren't bad for someone just starting out. They wont last you very long tho. I agree with memlok, if you do choose to get this, put some decent pickups into it and upgrade the amp as soon as you can!

If you want to get everything in a bundle for 279 Euro and that's what you can afford, go for it.
But be aware that pretty soon you will want to upgrade the guitar, the amp and even that guitar strap will not do for very long (very uncomfortable once you tried leather).
So all in all you wont save money but waste more as soon as you start upgrading. Might be better to go for quality stuff from the start. There's a lot of good secondhand material.

That gigbag is good I belive.

sorry I stopped this post halfway, got distracted. Ah it probably won't make sense, I am going to sleep. Sorry SunSlayer, good luck.

While that gigbag is good, is it what you need? I have cases for all my guitar but I dont use them, I am a bedroom guitarist. Also in that pack you get a lead, it would probably pay to pay for a good lead, because you can get a normal lead and that will be fine, but I have a Planet Waves(dunno what it is called) and it is very good quality compared to every other lead i have used, well im just blabbering, but yes you do get what you pay for...

Therefor again, you should pay for secondhand what someone has payed alot for new, because the quality is still there. It is about the sound not the looks. Amp's well that all depends on what you want to play I believe, if you hold on buying this starter pack and sort out what is your budget, and then work out where you will go from there, MickeM will be able to recommend alot of great amps in the price range.

Since you are looking at an Ibanez pack, I guess you wanna shred? I have seen alot of bargains for Ibanez's on ebay while browsing, you may want to avoid a floating tremolo, because that can put beginners off, it put me off, it was hell when i snapped my first string.
