Very nice. What all does that Line 6 unit do? Are you very pleased with it?

It's a delay modeler that allows you to save 3 different patches and also has the possibility of tap which is a great tool to set delay to song's tempo live It includes all these models:

• Tube Echo
• Tape Echo
• Multi-Head
• Sweep Echo
• Analog Echo
• Analog w/Mod
• Lo Res Delay
• Digital Delay
• Digital w/Mod
• Rhythmic Delays
• Stereo Delays
• Ping Pong
• Reverse
• Dynamic Delay
• Auto-Volume Echo
• Loop Sampler

It's interesting you don't have your amp channel switch at the bottom of the board like most people would.

Very good unit out of what I have read and tested - one of my band mates has it and also, a lot of guitarists - see Sevendust's CLint Lowery for instance - are using it.

Pedals position is changing all the time by now. I'm still experimenting. The amp channel was at the bottom before yesterday, I tried this position during the last rehearsal but I think that it will be back to the bottom.

I was also wondering mate - how were you able to switch the channels without stomping the pedals which are at the bottom of the pedalboard? Guess that having the channel switcher at the bottom is always going to work..

yeah, I tried this position during the last rehearsal, I wanted to have the tap from the delay easier to play but I prefer having the channel selector closer. It will be back tomorrow and this weekend for the gigs. smile.gif

I don't see any room for a Whammy pedal on there....?

Posted by: dcz702 Apr 24 2013, 08:10 PM

This post brought me back to something I was curious about. On my pedal Board I use a one spot to power 7 pedal. I was wondering if there are benifits to using power supply's like voodoo or boss power brick? One spots working fine for me just curious.

I think that it's the only pedal lacking in my pedal board to be perfect... smile.gif

I don't understand exactly what you are using...

It's a simple plug that has outlets strung together and you can add as many as you need

I think I know what you are talking about smile.gif

You have this:

and you are asking about this:

The one thing that I can tell you is that the one spot only powers 9V to each pedal and the DC Brick/Voodoo power source should/could multiple choices for multiple pedal types: 12,5V 24V, 9V..there is a cornucopia of pedals out there and you never know when you might like something that needs something else than 9V to power it up, especially if it doesn't come with a proprietary power supply wink.gif

Hmm, well I guess I'm lacking about 7 or 8 pedals before my pedal board is perfect.... ph34r.gif

But you have Whammy and you do an amazing use of it! smile.gif

My pedalboard has a built in power supply, being able to power up a lot of various pedal types and also having polarity switches biggrin.gif Pretty nifty, I must say!

My pedalboard is really simple...but i still think it's too much smile.gif For now it's just an FCB 1010 midi controller, MXR Micro Amp, MXR Distortion III, Korg DT10 tuner , Cry baby GCB95 and that's all. I use some "famous" power suplly but it added too much hum to the signal (considering all the cables, connection were fully planned and no ground loops etc, good cables). Now I use 2 simple transformer power supplies - one for the 4 stomps and one for the FCB.

My fcb1010 is modified - One pedal is cut off and I was moded for using external power supply. Built-in transformer was affecting the coil in the CRYBABY....to close and to noisy so I had too much hum on higher distortions. Now it's silent smile.gif

Cool! I have never used a midi controller? How does it exactly work?

Posted by: Darius Wave Apr 26 2013, 02:31 PM

It controls the rack fx next to the amp. It was always annoying to use long cables to the fx loop in amp. Always bif loss of freq and signal level. That's why I came with it and i use T.C G-major in fx loop of the amp + very short cables for less signal degradation. Possibilities of configuration are huge so i found this best way to safe the tone quality and still keep the on-stage versalite. That's because I always use amps distortion. Never realy found external distortion that had this "amp breathe". That's way I had to use reverb, delays and volume control in the fx loop of the amp.

Hey Darius, what amp do you use onstage?

ah ok, I thought that you connected this one to analog pedals.
