Yup. Pure nostalgia. The fine folks at OVERLOUD had done a full emulation of the now legendary Rockman rack sustainer and chorus/delay unit. The sustainer is available for about $500 to $1,700, and the chorus runs about $500 these days. These units are still in high demand despite not being made for quite some time and the fact that they are entirely solid state. No tubes. As usual, OVERLOUD has stepped in and made a great emulation for $30. I love that they emulate all of this vintage gear that is crazy pricey and make it part of THU.

The portable Rockman units were great and ahead of their time. I wish I had one. Good for Overloud on bringing back the sounds.

You can just click on the DEMO button if you have the latests version of THU. The demos are sorta built in smile.gif You can mess with it for a couple of weeks to see how you like it. The clean tones seem really nice. I dig the rack mount pack they released a bit back, but the clean tones from it can be a bit processed and require some tweaking. The rockman was designed from the ground up to used on guitar so every setting is meant to be usable. They actually restrict the number of variables on purpose as part of the original design. The only difference is that on the plugin you can use chorus and delay at the same time. The original didn't have enough dsp to run both at once smile.gif

Well said! I'm so glad Overloud releases vintage emultations of some of the best classic gear. So far they have done the SOLDANO tones and the SPX90 among others. Hardware that is crazy pricey and very hard to get, can be easily had in very faithful emulation.
