Opening Up A Cabinet |

I was wondering if anyone know or has even opened up the back of a 4x12 cabinet. I was thinking about having three hatches, hi/med/low. You know, some combos and cabinets come that way from the start but me not knowing if they are built diffently inside to begin with in order to enhance some frequencies I'm unsure if I'd improve or ruin my cabinet by building the hatches myself.
So is there anyone with audio knowledge or building cabinets who can tell me if it would work on a closed cabinet or not? -------------------- My bands homepage
