There are a couple of bands who have made similar docs talking about their struggles with labels. A band I have some associations with, The Damnwells, had an album with a lot of push behind it, and it fell apart. Also, say what you will about the band, but Hanson has a good one as well talking about their 3rd album and how they ended up going independent.
