Hi guys let use this post to request Famous Song Lessons
Please let's keep it clean, just post album and song name and which part of the song
(ex. Main Riff, Intro, solo etc.)
In Flames- Album: The Jester Race- Track: December Flower; intro section
Please, Satch boogie, main theme, I cant get it right! Just the intro/till solo.
From the surfing with the alien album.
What about "Hotel California" - the solo part...
Just any solo, doesn't really matter which one
smells like teen spirit intro
Any Iron Maiden song will do
like CoB?
I know it's simple but Smells Like Teen Spirit is legendary song, it should be done anyways
Stevie Wonder - Superstition
Knowing the riff = knowing the entire song
Must have been thins song Jack Black refered to as the best song in the world
Led Zeppelin : Stairway To Heaven Intro / Solo
Pink Floyd : Comfortably Numb Solo 1 / 2
Crazy Train - Ozzy Osbourne/Randy Rhoads - Intro Riff and Solo
I would suggest...
Crazy Train - Ozzy Osbourne riff too
Metallica - Nothing else Matters intro would be another good one for beginners
May be a bit lame to some of you guys but I love the guitar work and arrangement in this old 80's tune... Yeah, going back to my hair days...
Great White: "House Of Broken Love" Intro mainly but any part of the song would be cool!
Edit: Link..
I would say Guns and Roses Night Train or Supermassive Black hole by Muse.
This one would also be nice :
Beatles : While My Guitar Gently Weeps (Solo part by Clapton... )
Metallica: Master of Puppets - Whole intro.
Sweet Child o' mine - guns N Roses (intro and solo's)
Knockin on Heavens door - Guns N Roses (intro and solo's)
I'll think of some more
Thanks guys these are all valid suggestions, I'll fill them one by one
tears in heaven, house of the rising sun:P
Knockin on Heaven's door - Bob Dylan (as much of the song as possible)
Welcome to the Jungle - Guns n Roses (intro especially but any part would be good)
Stairway to Heaven - Led Zeppelin (intro and solo)
2 Minute to Midnight and Run to the Hills - Iron Maiden (Intro, Verse, Chorus riffs and solo)
I think the Sweet Child O' Mine Intro (Guns 'n Roses) is a very good riff to learn right for beginners.
I almost forgot
Iron Maiden: Infinite Dreams - as much as possible
I Agree and don't forget smoke on the water riff, should be banned from music stores too ahahah
Guns & Roses - Estranged (solos @6:00 and @7:38, they are pretty simple though)
Pretty much any Blood Sugar Sex Magik song or part of the song.
