Lesson Request - How To Transcribe A Song, Figuring out the chords/riffs, timing, note durations, etc., of a song |
Or maybe one instructor could post an mp3 file of a piece they're working on, and another instructor could do a lesson as they are actually transcribing it.

I am aware that transcribing is much needed tool
for every guitarist but lesson might be problem. And here's why.  It's very long process of ear training,visualizing fretboard etc. And you can't just explain/learn how to transcribe fast runs or complex chord progression without trying the most simplest stuff first. So I am not rejecting lesson of this kind at all, I'm just saying that it would need veeery long serial of lessons, starting with ultra simple things to transcribe, then slowly moving up ahead.

No, thats the fun part, cuz we can get to learn HOWTO subscribe those ourselves! I know this man on youtube, solodallas, he does amazing ac/dc covers and more. www.youtube.com/solodallas . He does everything by ear, just slows a part down on AUDACITY without changing pitch and learns it. He does all ac/dc solo's flawless!

Transcribing would be very useful. I'm alright at it but i just sort of guess and find the right thing quite quickly.
