By the way, it struck me that it would be really cool if we could get the player to read the audio from the lesson videos - this way we could offer a metal channel as well as a blues channel! biggrin.gif (we have already done a lot of the work when categorising etc)

+1

We have many genres here, tons of music if you ask me biggrin.gif

I think that this can be good idea , but it would be great to be implanted into forum (to be playing while we read the forum)..I think it would be a little bit confusing on the main page but cool on forums (as we do reading on it ) wink.gif

That's exactly what I have on my mind Bogdan smile.gif
Having it on main page where welcome video and all lessons are
perhaps isn't the best location for this radio player,
but in forum, while browsing topics etc, that's something. wink.gif

I had this idea a little while ago and PMed Kris about it - so of course I think it is an awesome idea! (As long as you can switch it off if you want to!)

I belive you must be confusing yourself with me becuase I also had this idea and PMed Kris about it. laugh.gif
So I'm also voting positively for this. smile.gif

Obviously an idea whose time has come - or maybe I really AM you??? No, can't be because I am purple and you are red ...

Pavel - Kris and I didn't specifically discuss it, I just PMed Kris about it as something to think about. If you don't like the idea that's fine - that's why I think it should be optional then you can just ignore it!

My idea was that one of the channels could be all the completed collaborations. For the future, as we build up songs, maybe our virtual bands can each have a channel too!

I voted yes.
While I understand Pavel's point of view, I believe that we have a lot of good lessons that can be mixed as "real songs".

Andrew, are you saying we're more like opposites? Because red and purple doesn't mix, I know that since there was a lady who walked by our house one a week last summer and she was dressed in a mix of red, purple and pink. In addition the purple builds an amp and the red builds a guitar. Opposites! wink.gif

There are radio services to buy or lease or something.

Excellent idea with instructors and collaboration channels.

My thought were for listeners to choose from
1) The uses selects a few genres and random songs are played out of that (obviously we'd need a station with a huge discografia and plenty of genres)
2) A jukebox where members picks the songs which then are put in a playlist. (the jukebox is streamed to all listeners)

Hmm. Seems like we are doomed to contend against each other for eternity or something sad.gif
