It's time for another competition GMC!! 
And since I have this honor to start with "Instructor's Week"
I'm giving myself a freedom to do this a bit differently.
The goal is to sound like me!! 
So there are 3 ways to participate here, pick one:
1 - Just plug and play without backing (play something on your own)
2- Play over only drum backing (key is up to you)
3- Play over backing with bass and drums, key is E (few options in E tho)

I'm asking for video entries here because I wanna make this even more
interesting and I'm strongly advise you also
to try putting something like " Muris Look Alike" details!!
You can use everything, from glasses to ninja gadgets, open your imagination.
I'll be judging here as well and here are upcoming prices!!

It seems like I have a problem with the backings, I have some latency in them, is this because of my computer or are there other guys with the problem?

Pff dont know how to explain in English.
The backing plays for like 4 secs here, than its 4 secs no sound, 4 secs sound, ... but the music keeps playing in the player...

OK, got it... Let's see what I can come up with. Too bad the backing aint a little bit faster, you have so many speedy, nice licks in your lessons, and they sound kinda tired in this tempo...
EDIT: Oh, sorry, see now I can play without any backing at all which is a possiblility doing tempo-changes... Is it possible to use own backing?

I'll have something posted by the deadline Muris. The stuff I'm working on is really at the VERY upper end of my technical capabilities so I need a few more days to woodshed so I don't look like a complete hack. Besides that my soul patch is just starting to come in nicely!!

Muris, I've already got your album, so I may as well stay out of this one!
Just kidding. First, I am going to wrap up your Free Collab 2 that I'm working on. If I can get something together for this by the deadline, then I'll post it. But I probably would need more time to get it to sound like you. ... ten years maybe!
Your album is just fantastic by the way. Not only is your playing outstanding as is always the case, but the songs themselves are just great. I've got the CD in my car and listen to it daily on my 20 minute commute to and from work. I like it as much as "Professor Satchafunkilus" which I also bought at the same time about a month ago. You gotta do another one.

Here's a teaser take Muris!!
Unfortunately as you can see, someone came in and pestered me mid take - which really annoyed me as I was really happy with the take so far! Then it all goes messy and wrong, but at the same time - thought it was a little funny and worth showing to you guys anyway
Please advice if you think this has a shot at the competition due to the unscheduled walk in, or if it would be better to make a new take all together!

Here is my take for the competition
unfortunately my recording gear is broke so I had to take the sound straight from the camera and you wont hear the backing so good, but it is there somewere
My "muris haircut" failed a little too but that was just for fun anyway

I tried my best on this but ultimately playing like the Bosnian Beast is gonna take ALOT more time and practice.
The only thing I could do was imitate the way Muirs makes faces when he plays. Actually those are the faces I make. I've never made a video showing my face before and I don't know that I will anytime soon after watching this back. The face I make at the end makes me wonder if I need to go change my underwear.

EDIT: It's also more like funny... less technical.. however, hehe, the ninja skills are technical, guitar isn't
EDIT2: anoying... I need to get my files from MOV to Avi to edit them.. My program does it's work, but it cuts out the audio xD I can't do anything without the audio

Awesome Tolek!! Man you must have worked hard on imitating Muris because you sound just like him, perfect accent and your english was.....just horrible.

I usually concentrate on playing than on doing splits.
I tried to make some stupid faces, but it didn´t really work. Only when I play without performance, I create some ugly grimaces.

It's just the best overal impression. You dont win by getting the best solo or getting the most humor. It's the overal impression of the whole video.

Focus should be on playing tho I added humoristic approach as well
so we could get more people involved and not only advanced players or som,
this IS competition but I wanted it more "user friendly".
So, it's overall impression after all, kind of!
