GMC Forum _ GEAR & PRODUCTION _ Problem With Guitar Pro 5.2

Posted by: Zizi Top Jun 9 2008, 06:28 PM

I used to have Guitar pro 5.0, then I had the 5.2, but it have a sophisticated RSE sound, so when I play my song on guitar pro, my RSE CPU is really high, so the sound goes buzz bizz buyzzz ....
When I installed guitar pro 5.2, all my gpro files become 5.2 files, so I decided to go back to the 5.0 version, but then, I can't read my gpro files anymore !!! my version is "too old" :s

Can somebody help me .. resolving the RSE problem with 5.2 ??

If you upload them to the forum then I'll download them and then re-upload them in Guitar Pro 4 format so you can open them?

Well, ummm... you could just change it to midi, from the button next to play button... or from menu where you pick the instrument of the track, you can find it there too...

If this is great for you then it's the fourth misunderstanding I had in like 2 minutes, thanks to my own sillyness. wacko.gif laugh.gif rolleyes.gif

uninstall the program then re-install it again without RSE

Well you can easily kill RSE in guitar pro 5.2 .Just click on the RSE button left of the play button..Or use (F2) shortcut on keyboard...

You don't need to reinstall anything etc...

This probably doesn't help much, but I heard the RSE stuff sounds like walrus sex... Are there any other reasons to upgrade besides the RSE?

Well only reason I upgraded is because I couldn't play ALL gtp files, it required the update..
And you can always turn RSE off...
