Kris I love the site. I'm brand new to learning the guitar and for 20 years i keep saying im going to get one, well i finally got one a few months ago and now i m learning the scales and chords, however my biggest inspiration for wanting to learn has to be Rik Emmett from Triumph, and im probably years away but are there any instructors who play his style some of my favorites so you get the Idea of what im looking for, Just a game, Hard Road, World of Fantasy, blinding light show.
Im trying to learn from everyone and since im new, i get distracted by everything and have a hard time following through on any one lesson. Any and all help from your members is greatly appreacited.

Thank You
Ed

Same problem here. What I found effective, get tabs for a couple lessons practice them all, and soon the one you like best and get the best at will be practiced more, then just keep doing that and you should learn it! (thats how it was for me)

Hey thanks alot I really appreaciate it. I was doing a few searches and found that Triumph is looking to get back together again and doing a swedish reunion in June.
heres a clip of Rik Emmett in 1987 I actually seen this concert when it came to the States. Rik went wild at the concert I was at, and he exploded doing this song, but here it is from a similar concert at a different location.

Check it out i hope you enjoy it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vQ2o2sHqbI...feature=related

Everyone should know this song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=os5wH_H7cng...feature=related
