Hendrix Meets Sayce, Lesson By Denes Nagy |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: Hendrix Meets Sayce by Denes Nagy
I had an afternoon to record, so decided to get down two lessons I've been working on. This one I really struggled with until I realized Denes was using his thumb over the top on the low E (duh like Hendrix). After that it just took a short bit to get comfortable with the new technique. Cool trick and fun to play! -------------------- |

Hi again mate!
I also think that you are doing a great job with this lesson. Your playing is consistent on this one as it happens with the Stoner Lesson. I think that there are two things that could be improved on this take: - Vibrato: Working on a wider and more consistent vibrato (for example the one at 00:32) - Tone: I feel that a tone with more presence and definition could make this one sound better. Other than that you're on the right track. Keep on the good job! -------------------- My lessons
