Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: Beginner's Corner 20: Beginner Solo by Bear Rose

I record audio into Garageband for better quality, but haven't yet idea how to record a video at the same time. So, video was recorded separatedly, and it results a bit unsynchronous.

Hello Alexandr!

In terms of timing you have nailed this piece but my suggestion would be to focus on the right pitch when bending and vibrating as some of the notes are not really there smile.gif

Keep up the good work mate!

Cosmin

Hi Alex! Nice playing! You are very close to master this lesson perfectly. Concentrate on your bending pitch and also on the timing of some phrases (for example the last one) and you'll have a 10! Keep on the good job! smile.gif

Very nice take! As mentioned, your next focus could be on bending and vibrato.
My advise would be to also work a bit on the dynamics - in practice that means making some notes more or less louder in volume, depending on the need. Try picking some notes harder when needed and try to relax with the lesson - confidence with the material can really make a big difference on your playing performance.

Here are some useful bending technique lessons :

* https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Beginn...String-Bending/
* https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Bending-Ballad/ (check video parts 6-9 for bending exercises)

Here is a lesson series focusing on vibrato technique : https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/lessonser...ibrato-Odyssey/

I would suggest starting with this lesson as the first one : https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Bens-Vibrato-Odyssey-5/ (and then going from beginning of the series)
