What kind of amp do you have?
I always say the simpler the better, so if you want a good sound, save your money for a good amp, a good amp will give you a much better sound than any pedal, pedal's sound usually aren't as high quality as amps.
But if you want an 80's sound, learn 80's songs! Take the techniques from them, and use those techniques in your playing.
So my answer is, none! Use the money to buy a music book on an 80's band, learn the techniques and apply them to your playing. biggrin.gif

I only have a small fender amp but would like to get something bigger like you said. I do have a
Guns n' Roses and Black Sabbath book on the guitar (of course) But do you have any suggestions for a certain kind of amp that's not very expensive. I always thought Penvey was good but never had enough money. Please answer, i sure would appreciate again. biggrin.gif

Well, it's hard to suggest anything without knowing how much you want to pay, but Crate, Randall, Orange, Laney, and Kustom make great cheap amps. If you want a Peavy, I'd suggest getting the half stack, ValveKing is good. But if you want to go high quality get a half stack over 800$, Crate, Marshall, Peavy, Kustom are great. Highest quality(that I've heard of, I don't have near enough money for these) would probably be Krank, Mesa Boggie, and ENGL.
Check out thier sites, and prices and see witch you like the best.
