VS100 already has a drive channel, I think you can try to make this your primary distortion (since it has preamp tube and can create better harmonics). You can use MT to simply spice up that overdrive channel a bit, add some bass, and small degree of drive. Experiment a bit.

No problem mate, anytime! I've played the VS100 combo in the studio for quite some time. The impedance of the amp doesn't match with the speaker, so it sounds a bit thin. The amp itself packs a tremendous punch, and if you have a chance - plug it into a bigger cab with impedance matched to the amp - you'll get 10x better sound to work with.
