Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Notes: I opted for a pure clean tone for this even though the orignal lesson isn't that way. I've been listening to a lot of Jerry Reed lately and I love that sound.

well man, you did a great job here. it's not that easy as it looks at first. a very difficult technique to work on.
you're pretty close to the original and that's a good thing. pay attention on the licks that you're playing 2 strings using your pinky, they are a little bit out of tune. this is a tiny detail, your take was awesome anyway. smile.gif

Cool take, the only thing is that in my opinion you are getting lost in your timing a couple of times, aside from this, well done.

Sounds OK, but I think timing is a not that great. More work needs to be done on this one, specially with the picking hand.

Pretty good take on a hard lesson! Just pay attention to timing and hybrid picking parts. Sounds was very good and appropriate smile.gif
