> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Here's my first REC video! I had a lot of fun recording and making it.

This is also my first time recording anything and making a video so if the watchers have any advice please let me know!

Thanks for watching.

Nice playing. You got all the notes with the nice feel. You problem is the vibrato. You're vibrating like classical players (moving finger left-right). You have to vibrate either up or down - depending on which string you are on. And that also shouldn't be from the finger but from the wrist. Your bends could also be more precise and faster executed. Still a good attempt for a passing mark.

I agree with everything Emir said. It's for a passing grade, because you made a good effort. However, you should check out how to do a vibrato technique on electric guitar, and start to rehearse it. The technique you are using is suitable for nylon strings, not metal ones.

very nice video and audio quality man, congrats!
i liked your tone a lot, pretty clean, sounds a lil like john frusciante, you need to improve your vibrato, do it up and down not sideways, beisdes that it is very cool to me !
