Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

This is me re-take of When i come around, for my MTP with Adrian Figallo - march.
Recorded with backing track playing from the site because of famioussong backingtrack copyright issues. Recorded with guitarhero microphone(lucky i thought of trying this out, sounds much better then webcams mic) infront of my studio monitors. Sound quality is alot less good then i'd normally record so please keep this in mind with the grading..
Also i didn't get the solo added in with this way of recording, hope thats ok..

It's a good take. The sound quality could be better, as you said, but it's OK. The thing you need to work more is timing. Those riffs have to be much more tighter, and hand more relaxed. Try rehearsing them on slower tempos, and check out how riffing and palm muting technique should look like on Marcus Siepen's lessons.

Hey benajmin, i like this take, the start is a lil sloppy but overall it is a good take, you really improved your rhythmic technique this month, and we will continue next month with some more.

hope you are having fun on mtp smile.gif

It's a nice take. Try to free yourself a bit more when playing and pay attention to your tempo. Maybe, as Ivan said, you can try play it slower until you totally control it.
