> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hey Dave, glad to see you jump in the REC program. smile.gif If you will, create a poll so the instructors can grade your take. If your unsure about it, here is a link for a little guidance, I'll then move it over to the grading board. Thanks man.

7 from me brother, i really liked your take, i think you need a little bit more of distorsion on your sound, or maybe a compressor.
very good job, watch out the timing tho, great for your first take!

Nice take, try to work a bit more on your legato playing though, try to make it a bit stronger, sometimes the notes get too quiet. 7 from me too.

Try to low down the speed and play it slow until you take full control on what you're playing. Then, increase speed little by little. I tell you this because I noted that you're not sure in some passages. But, all in all, is a nice take.
