Next week is the Musikmesse in Frankfurt, it's a Music show like the NAMM in the US and it's the biggest in Europe!
All the companies have booths there, you can try a lot of stuff and see even more! There are celebreties in the Music world all arround the place; some are playing clinics, some are sining stuff and presenting gear and some are just there to walk arround and enjoy all the instruments
Last year was great! Muris was there but I couldn't find him...

So is anyone going? I will be there on Friday (non-public-day) with some friends who managed to get the tickets
If there are enough GMCers announcing that they will come, I will also be there on Saturday!
Oh man i swore i wouldnt miss it this year but it just aint gonna happen, please take a boatload of pics Zakk!
If it had been a bit later in the year i would have loved to have gone, unfortunately prior commitments mean I can't. (A bit too short notice for me)
Like Sted says though, take some Pics Zakk! I'd still be interested in a 'virtual' look around the Show!!!
I am still thinking about going, I am not sure though. I havent been there for a couple of years and it is about time to go again I guess... well, I will see
So I am all on my own? The halls will feel so empty...
...besided the thousands of people arround I am going to the Musikmesse every year, just because it is only 15 minutes train ride away from my home
Afraid I can't make it either.
I'm toying with the idea of going to this years AES in London in May though as I want to see the new SADiE 6.
(We're still debating whether to go with a native version of V6 or Sequoia or Pyramix Native.)
I'll wait for LIMS in London. Have a great time whoever goes to Musikmesse.
Don't worry, no matter if anybody here form GMC will come or not, for sure it will not be empty and you will still get enter sandman from your left, stairway to heaven from your right, highway to hell from behind and smoke on the water from ahead of you
I woiuld love to go and check it out, but it's not possible atm. Have a great time!
It should be great fun Zakk enjoy it man
I would love to visit this show in years to come. It would be a great excuse to visit Germany too
Hey Zakk!
If you are going mate check out Jaden Rose Guitars Hall 4.0 stand B75, im a big fan and I think he may be unveiling a new singlecut, if you can manage I'd love to see a picture of one!!
If not its cool ofc mate
I intended to go there and see a Jaden Rose endorser Play, I will look out for a singlecut guitar!
I'm gonna miss it this year, I have few gigs on weekend which I just can't cancel...
I decided to go, still have to check Gibson's "Summer Collection"
Wow cool! I'll say hello if I can spot you at the Gibson booth^^
Are you going tomorrow or saturday?
I'll go Saturday
I was there today and it was pretty awesome! Gonna post pics and impressions later, I am really tired after walking arround for 5 hours.
it looks pretty cool, wish I could be there
dude, any pics?? I need the Zakk Wylde Messe report!!
did you see the Jaden endorsee play??
Messe was nice, I have to say though that it became much smaller compared to earlier years, many companies seemed to have stayed away this year, due to the crisis I guess... well, the ones that I wanted to check out have been there
Oh man, still no pics
you know im such a gear whore!! You're all just teasing me!
Hahaha, just check out the webpages of all the companies that were there, you'll find tons of pics
Coming tonight, I promise!

There is an update for Trilogy? Gotta check that
Update to 1.3 will be released 20th April Marcus as a free download for all registered users.
I can agree with Marcus, the show had less booths and some companies only had tiny booths (Mesa Boogie) or none at all (Dean guitars).
Still I had a blast testing out stuff and seeing some famous musicians like Kerry King from Slayer, Jeff Waters from Annihilator, Scott Ian of Anthrax, Jeff Loomis of Nevermore, Doug Aldrcih of Dio/Whitesnake or Matt Heafy of Trivium...
I couldn't find the Jaden Rose booth Sted! Must have been a small booth on a big show like this it's hard to discover everything!
(Sorry for the blurry pics, it's only a bad cellphone cam)
I really like those SG's with the maple necks. Have they discontinued them I wonder? I can't find them.
Gibson Raw Power series. They should still be available! (all maple guitars!)
I love that 'Battle Scarred' LP style with the FR!!!
Great pics mate!
Ive had the photos off Jaden now anyway for his mew range, absolutey staggering some of it!
That black custom is achingly beautiful!
