It´s really a simple Am Pentatonic run in one position at the 5th fret and one or two extra notes probably from Dorian or Aolian scale. You play it back and forth as fast as you can, play decending and suddenly go back one note or two and decend again, repeat it few times accross the scale, I was going for a simular run in Still got the blues, at the end of the first solo, but that´s played an octive higher at 17th fret, extreamly fast, and it´s hard to put it down on tablature because it´s so fast. Easiest thing to do is listen and get as close as possible. I think Gary plays it different every time.

The end run was played at the 12th fret, using some blend of Am penta some Dorian or A minor scale, I´m not sure.

Nicely started with few notes, and panned guitars with
the left one on the 3rds. That is a very cool idea, and I
like the fact you made the part just like two guitars
were talking, and the left one just accents right's notes
here and there.

You say so... I had no idea I used 3rd notes tongue.gif

Thnx for the comment! I was prety proud of this take tongue.gif

Thanks for the comments Ivan, it was a really great collab!

The slightly pinched bends you'r talking about are actually on purpose... but the device I'm using to record really kills some of the sound.. it sounds much better through my amp sad.gif

Thanks for all the efforts and keep making these great collabs man!

I tried some writing and it helps, just make a little start and add some pieces. And then just do your improvisations using parts of the written solo. that worked for me. but the theory..I know the Pentatonic scale (which I used) but the sliding to the 3rd... Ivan says so, so it is so tongue.gif
