I love playing arpeggio's sounds so classical:D If I played it 10 times faster id be a neo-classical shredder. But what does arpeggio actually mean? I bet its Italian. Does anyone have some classical arpeggio tabs?biggrin.gif I like em!

it's just a chord being played note by note.

An arpeggio is simply the notes of a chord played in sequence smile.gif If your not playing them in sequence its not an arpeggio.

My personal favorite is an A Major 11th arpeggio wink.gif I enjoy playing classical music on my electric because of all those tasty arpeggios they used to use biggrin.gif

I prefer to alternate pick arpeggios than sweep them, because you can accent the notes! see this good wiki article on arpeggios for more details on the theory

Arpeggio is a broken up chord.Basically you play chord tones in a sequence starting from root.

An Arpeggio is a liquid chord (played in a melodic way) a chord is a frozen arpeggio (played in an harmonic way)...ok Nema if you want to learn more I will write in italian... biggrin.gif
Un arpeggio è un accordo suonato in modo melodico, un accordo è un arpeggio suonato in modo armonico!

I heard Arpeggio was a good side dish for Chicken Alfredo, don't forgot a nice white wine too.

But seriously lol, i think the others covered it pretty much.

That's it exactly, a chord played one note at a time:)
