There were some really good bands there last night. Unfortunately Muhammed Suicmez and Necrophagist had to cancel because of problems getting into the country. sad.gif

Anyway, the list of bands was:

Killwhitneydead
Daath
Ion Dissonance
As Blood Runs Black
Beneath the Massacre
The Faceless
Arsis
Cattle Decapitation
Cephalic Carnage
Decapitated

Vogg from Decapitated is one bad dude. Very tight for playing so fast.

There were quality guitarists in just about every band. I didn't care for Cephalic Carnage or Killwhitneydead, so I won't comment on them. Arsis was a pleasant surprise, too.

Decapitated(and Necrophagist) was who I was mainly there to see. The bad thing was there were 10 bands and they only got to play about 30-35 minutes apiece, even the bigger name bands.

I was very impressed with Arsis, too.

I was there to see them and Decapitated. Decapitated was great, but I've been listening to them for sometime. I only just recently bought a Necrophagist CD and was really hoping to see Muhammed tear it up.

I can understand not liking the brutal death metal. There are a lot of bands that I just cannot listen to at all. However, Decapitated and Necrophagist are 2 of the best going right now.
