I think having an extremely slow backing track for when you're trying to memorise something is very useful.

Yes, I think those options would be great. What I would really like to see is the lessons laid out the way you did Here Fade To Black
I love the different screens with parts of the lesson broke down and looped with Tab. This way you learn each part then put it together! |

I agree fully with this and especially with the extreme slow one as i find it more fun to practise with a backingtrack insteed of in GP

Excellent suggestions Kris and I say yes to them all Really like the looping BT idea for jamming, it will help me out greatly with my improvising.

I agree wholeheartedly with the slower backing track - sometimes even the slowest BTs are waaay too fast, especially if you are stretching yourself and playing something waaay advanced, just very slowly.
I think 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% would probably be a good selection to aim for, and hey, what about 125% for when you have nailed it -------------------- Check out my Instructor profile
