Gabriel, could you please explain the best way to build harmonies with thirds in the typical Maiden/Priest style. You seem to be really good at it. So any advice would be highly appreciated. Hi Brandon. Have you checked Luciana's Harmonization singing lesson? There you'll find a good explanation of this. The best way to start ould be to make a short melody and then hamonizing it in diatonic thirds. Here you have an example: Let's Supose that we are in A minor Key and we are creating a melory using A minor scale: A minor scale: A B C D E F G A If the main melody that you create is: A C B C A the harmonization in diatonic thirds would be: C E D E D That's the most common harmonizations. The note C hamonizes the note A. Note that you have 3 steps from A to C in A minor scale. That's a diatonic third. gabriel.- -------------------- My lessons
