Hi Guys,

I haven't tried any legato lesson so here is a try. This one was pretty fast and was a very good exercise for me. Thanks Jerry for http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guitar/b-dorian-solo/.

I need a tip on how to get rid of string noise without using the hairband (which many players use I guess). Its on heavy gain and a slight touch brings in the noise. You will see it in my try.

I think you played it very well

Personally, I never used hairbands or similar stuff, but it may be useful for recording purposes to minimize the noise. More gain, more noise, one solution may be to use a noise gate.

Very good take maharzan!
I just noticed a small timing issue on the B note at 7th fret on low E string - the one approached with the slide - at the end of the first lick. It's also true that maybe you're just playing the lick with your own taste.
Some notes towards the end are quite "hidden" but I think you played this solo well.
To be honest, I think that you can reach a perfect take with a little more practice!

I forgot the noise topic
Well, most of the times you can solve all this problems with a good muting (damping) technique of both hands.
Your picking hand is doing the job with a kind of all-the-time palm muting on the lower strings.
On the other side, the index of your fingering hand is damping the higher strings, slightly touching them.

I think the last bit sounded decent, but the very last tapping part and whole first part were not well played for a passing grade. Timing was off and many notes for missing/weak. You should spend a bit more time on this.

Many parts were sloppy but you managed to keep the continuity which is good. It needs more control and concentration. I am sure you are aware of what needs to be more tight so just work on that and you'll be ok.
