Hi guys smile.gif

Just finished doing a remix of a track called "We are still here" by a youtuber called fahlo.

Here's the original: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=avbkkgj-XBA
And here's mine! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0DXSZulaQI
(Quite pleased with the arp's at the end! smile.gif

Doing a project like this was good for the inspiration. Was completely out of ideas but this has sparked some creativity again smile.gif
Hope you like it!

Interesting, the mix is far better than the original. Cleaner and crispier sound. The ending sounds fantastic, however, it would be even better if the vocals have been removed when the guitars starts to play the lead-lines. Also, I like the song, it has a good, strong melody. What I dont like, is that the singer is out of pitch in several spots. Especially some high notes. Otherwise it was great work!!!

Yeah, I've left a comment on YouTube. I was surprised to see a new vid, Trond. tongue.gif I said, "are you kidding me?" haha laugh.gif

Yeah, I agree with Staffy on the vocals. I listened to the original before yours and when I got to yours I was like - yeah, that's what I like - Hard rock! It helped out with the vocals being off key at times. smile.gif

Great job as I said before. I figured there'd be a thread on this since I saw it own YouTube first.

Yes, please! Haha! Same here. I'm working on several of them, Difficulties 3-5 and it is tough at times. I've about got the Rock Solo - Beginner nailed. I vote more 3 and 4 level lessons! biggrin.gif ....also like to see the hardest lesson you can do, to see your "guitar level peak". I bet the solo in The Strong and the Weak would top a 7 or an 8 Difficulty!

Really....any new lesson would be a nice refresher. smile.gif

I totally agree. Check out how awesome these lessons sound...and they are level 3!!! I can actually play them! tongue.gif I think it's harder to come up with an easy lesson that still sounds killer like these, than it is to put a level 8 together with tons of sweeps and shredding. You know those are probably going to sound cool just because they're hard to play. To make an awesome sounding easy lesson takes real musical vision in my opinion.

Thanks so much for that! smile.gif

I really do want to get more lessons up, and fast!
But, not quite sure whats going, everytime i get an idea and start recording, something tells me that it's not good enough to continue and i delete it.
This has been the problem with both lessons and songs for quite some time now and i've ended up scrapping dozens of ideas.

It's frustrating and it kinda takes the fun out of it.
