Let me know what you think of the supporting band! They're local dudes. It's metalcore, though, if you're into that.

Haha, quite ! We all remember our 'first time' !
Although Todd, you got to see Megadeth in their 80's heyday during the Peace Sells tour didn't you ? Lucky man !!
The show's been and gone now so how was it Christian ?

Oh my god, what a freaking awesome show!! I mean, these guys are pretty old, but they put up an unforgettable show and Dickinson hit every note right. My neckstill hurts from banging so hard, but it was worth it. Awesome setlist as well, they started out with a bunch of new songs and finished with the old classics.
All of you who are going to see them in the future, have fun and be sure it's gonna be great.
The supporting band was pretty cool as well, the lead guitarist could replace Petrucci in DT...definitely too good for the rest of the band

how long did the concert take place ? Im sheduling my traintrip haha

Begin was at 8 pm, this was when the support act started to play. at 9 pm, Maiden entered the stage and played until 11 pm.
Kinda funny was, that Dickinson and the boys left the stage, the light was out, and Bruce still had his mic and shouted "One more!" and everyone was expecting them to come back on stage...cause they hadn't played Run to the Hills yet After 5 more minutes with the lights out, the roadies entered the stage and began to unplug the cables and so on...it seems like there is a law here in Germany, as pretty much every concert I went to ended at 23 pm sharp...

I definitely had a great time, and it was my second best concert ever, only beaten by Blind Guardian last october (mostly due to the fact that I caught Marcus' pick and this time I didn't get close enough to the stage to catch Daves'
