I come to humbly ask a few questions of the great Leopardi.
First, and most important, is how did you get so good? I might ask some other instructors too, but you get first because it is, after all, mostly your lessons that I'm practicing right now. I'm looking for some good ones from other instructors too. Anyways, I look through guitar book after guitar book, magazine after magazine, interview after interview, and almost all my guitar heros were self tought. How did you practice when you started out, or at least when you started getting good? I am willing to shred my fingers off 5 hours a day, but I want to make sure Im doing it right. Does playing something over and over really help my overall guitar playing? because I don't seem to be improving much with my current practice schedule- or am I?
Second, least important, and last, what gear do you use? In all of the guitar video lessons I have seen I get the instructor, the guitar, and then a wall. I see that wonderful lp studio, but what amps, fx, etc are you using off to the side of the camera?
Thank you for your help, and all the great video lessons!
Thanks for the advice....
Now back to guitarland to practice Enter Sandman with all the fluffy bunnies!
Cool idea!
