Hey guys, I am trying to upload some completed lessons to YouTube to use as feedback/promotion for this great site and I can't seem to get the timing on them correct, the video gets way ahead of the audio and it makes it look just ridiculous. Any idea what could be causing this problem? Thanks

Do the vids only get out of sync when you upload them to youtube? or do you get this issue when exporting the video files? what editing software do you use? or do you record audio with the mic of the camera as well and don't do any editing?

youtube on it's own shouldn't mess up the video (or at least the syncing of video and audio)

I don't know maybe its the format in which they are..Try exporting to other formats like FLV , AVI etc....But if its a small file and random issue I would recommend re uploading until it works smile.gif

Well, what resolution do you use mate? Also possibly the framerate info and standard could be useful to localize the problem.

Ive fixed the problem I was using a strange resolution and somehow it was causing the strange sync errors. Not sure how this works but when I record it at a more standard resolution the problem appears to be gone

Also for future try downloading Klite codec pack. Its free and it has virtually everything you need to watch and create videos codec wise. Youtube uploading will never be a problem again wink.gif
